Compliance isn't an afterthought. It's our foundation.

Every product we ship, every transaction we process, and every customer we onboard operates under the full weight of our CNBV license. This page exists so you can verify that for yourself.

What CNBV licensing means

Mexico's CNBV conducts rigorous reviews of capital adequacy, AML controls, management fit-and-proper checks, and operational resilience before granting a money transmitter license.

What it means for your business

Your funds flow through a regulated institution with enforceable obligations, not a payment aggregator that could lose access to rails overnight.

Annual compliance obligations

License holders must submit annual audit reports, maintain capital reserves, and meet ongoing CNBV reporting requirements — or lose the license.

Anti-Money Laundering

Full PLD / AML program

Mexico's Ley Federal para la Prevención e Identificación de Operaciones con Recursos de Procedencia Ilícita (LFPIORPI) requires us to maintain and publish a formal Prevención de Lavado de Dinero (PLD) program. Here's what that means in practice.

Transaction monitoring

Automated real-time monitoring of all transactions against CNBV typology rules and global sanctions lists.

KYC / KYB for every customer

Identity verification (KYC) for individuals and full business verification (KYB) including beneficial ownership.

Suspicious Transaction Reports

STRs are filed with the CNBV Unidad de Inteligencia Financiera (UIF) when required by regulation.

Compliance officer on staff

A dedicated compliance officer oversees our AML program and maintains direct CNBV reporting lines.

Security

Bank-grade security. Better than legacy institutions.

Traditional banks run 30-year-old security stacks. We were born cloud-native and implement modern security practices from day one.

TLS 1.3 in transit

All API and web traffic encrypted with TLS 1.3. Older protocol versions are rejected.

AES-256 at rest

All stored data — customer records, transaction histories, documents — encrypted with AES-256.

ISO 27001-aligned

Security practices modeled on ISO 27001 information security management standards.

Continuous monitoring

24/7 infrastructure monitoring with anomaly detection and automated incident response.

Role-based access control

Least-privilege access for all staff and systems. No standing privileged access to production.

Penetration testing

Regular third-party penetration tests against API endpoints, web interfaces, and internal systems.

Data Privacy

Your data, your rights

We comply with Mexico's LFPDPPP (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares) — the Mexican equivalent of GDPR — and apply GDPR-aligned practices globally.

Data minimization

We collect only the data required to provide the service and meet regulatory obligations. Nothing more.

Right to access

Customers can request a full export of their personal data at any time.

Data retention

Transaction records retained for 10 years per CNBV requirements. Customer data deleted on account closure subject to legal hold obligations.

No third-party sale

Your data is never sold. Shared only with banking partners and regulators where required by law.
